1. About the service

Simply File Tools extracts text from documents and images and presents it in a chosen PDF template. The legal operator and business address will be supplied before public launch. Contact us at [email protected] or through the contact form.

2. Supported files and previews

Current uploads support PDF and DOCX up to 20 MiB, TXT up to 1 MiB, and JPG, PNG and WebP up to 10 MB, 12 megapixels and 10000 pixels per side. PDFs requiring recognition support up to 8 pages and 10 MB. Older DOC files must be saved as DOCX first. Watermarked previews are free. Keep a copy of your original document.

3. Check the result before using it

Review extracted text and every preview page against your original. Recognition may omit or misread text, figures, table values and account details. Original pictures are not included in the styled PDF. Complex layouts, automatic numbering and merged table cells may change. The result is a reformatted document, not a guarantee of an exact reproduction.

Simple documents are read locally; images and difficult documents may use OpenAI for recognition. Do not rely on the service to verify the factual, legal or financial accuracy of your document.

4. Your content and permitted use

Only upload content you have permission to use and process. Do not submit unlawful material, malicious files or content intended to interfere with the service. Your use of the service does not transfer ownership of your content to us. You permit processing necessary to create the requested previews and outputs, including recognition by the providers described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Price and what payment unlocks

When checkout is enabled, a one-off purchase unlocks the approved PDF plus editable Word for one uploaded document, including all supported templates and repeat downloads during the availability period. Each new upload is a separate document. This is not a subscription. Available currencies and their exact prices are displayed before payment and in Stripe checkout. The standard document download price is USD $3.99. Text extraction is free. Any applicable tax treatment must be confirmed before paid public launch.

6. Digital delivery and download availability

Download access begins after the server verifies successful payment and lasts 30 days from confirmation. Access the document in the original browser or request a secure login link using the checkout email address. You can choose another supported template for the same purchased content during that period. Keep a local copy: this website is not permanent storage. Refunded purchases lose download access. Deleting the stored purchased copy in My Documents ends access and does not automatically issue a refund.

7. Refunds and problems

If a preview or output has a problem, contact us with enough information to investigate, avoiding unnecessary sensitive document contents. The commercial refund policy must be finalised before payments begin, including what happens if a paid file cannot be delivered, a payment is duplicated or the output is faulty.

Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer rights, including remedies that apply to faulty or misdescribed digital content or services. Reviewing a preview does not waive those rights.

8. Cancellation rights

Cancellation rights depend on the purchase and applicable law. Before paid downloads launch, the checkout must explain the applicable rights and collect any express consent and acknowledgement required for immediate digital delivery. Simply downloading a file or accepting general terms will not be treated as an automatic waiver without the required process.

9. Availability and service limitations

The website is in development. Processing may fail or be interrupted, and not every document structure can be reproduced. We may restrict abusive use and make changes to maintain the service. Any limitations on liability must respect applicable law; nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains document, recognition and contact-message processing. We will update these terms when the purchase offer and operating arrangements are finalised. Customers must receive the terms applicable to their purchase before paying.

Free text extraction and optional document downloads

Text extraction, viewing, copying and TXT downloads are free. No wallet balance or template purchase is required. Existing file-size, format, security and temporary capacity limits apply.

The standard optional professional document download is USD $3.99, confirmed separately after reviewing the preview. It includes the approved PDF and editable Word in one ZIP. Template changes and repeat downloads retain the existing access period. Word layout can vary between apps; PDF-only downloads are available in My account.

Historical transactions, genuine extraction credits, existing purchases, balances, reservations and expiry dates remain unchanged. Free extraction does not create a new discount, refund or extension of access. Existing completed purchases retain their existing access.

Signed-in users can return to saved text during its existing 30-day period. Original uploads and temporary caches retain their separate existing expiry. See current pricing.
